Deputies Execute Two Trades, Lose Caparica and Helms

The Dallas Deputies have pulled the trigger on two trades that analysts say may have set back their progress towards being a playoff contender by at least a few more seasons.

Earlier today, the Deputies traded their top hitting regular, SS Celestino Caparica (.294/.353/.423, 8 HR, 30 RBI, 12 SB) and recently-signed right-hander Marco Helms, who last played for the Salts, where he went 9-5 with a 2.96 ERA and impressive 131 K’s over 118.2 innings.
