Febres, Smokem Possibly Gone for Year

Rimouski learned tonight that star pitching fixture William Febres, acquired in a February trade with Detroit, will possibly miss the rest of 2018 with shoulder inflammation that flared up during an appearance against his former team tonight in the Motor City.

Motorheads Zero In On Febres

New York Dragons ace William Febres, who became a free agent last month after failing to agree to a new contract, has now signed to a 2-year deal worth $27.2 million with the Detroit Motorheads, it was announced.

The 7-time All-Star, who won a Sandy Koufax Award in 2009 with the Denver Highlanders (now Denver Danger), was coming off one of his best seasons since 2012, when he first joined New York. Continue reading “Motorheads Zero In On Febres”
