Attack is hitting .328 this season with 2 home runs, 37 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 102 hits in 311 at-bats. He was recently in the news for a five-hit effort against the Nevada Speeders on August 21. He was player of the week back in June, and won the Gold Crown at second base last season.

5-Hit Game for Attack

Second baseman Section Attack had a huge game in a San Diego Seagulls win at SpeederDome today. Attack rapped 5 hits in 6 tries and helped the Seagulls in an extra-innings effort to overcome the Nevada Speeders, 11-8.

Attack singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled again in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th and hit a two-run double in the 11th.

For the season Attack has produced 92 hits in 288 at-bats for a .319 average with 2 home runs and gotten on base at a .352 clip. Attack won the Gold Crown at 2B last year with the Seattle Salts for his best-in-AEL offensive performance amongst 2B-men.
