The Chicago squad had dropped the first two games of the Bull Cup Championship Series to the Metro League’s Nevada Speeders, and looked to be facing serious trouble with a possible sweep. But they battled back to a 14-7 win in game 3 after the series moved to their home stadium, giving them their first W and avoiding a sweep.
