Nevada Speed to the Top of Power Rankings

The Nevada Speeders have pulled ahead of the pack to take the top of the weekly team power rankings for Week 9, after taking the first three against their former AEL rivals, the Chicago Pit Bulls, in the interleague home-and-home series that marked the main event for all teams this past week.

Ravens Take the Lead for Week 6

The Minneapolis Ravens have sailed to the top of the weekly team power rankings at the end of Week 6 of the regular season, as they settled into a groove atop the LL West standings with a 24-14 (.632) record.

Fighting Moose in Fighting Form as Week 5 Closes

The books are closed on Week #5 of the regular season, and the Rimouski Fighting Moose have surged to the top of the LL East standings in what has been a roller-coaster ride so far in that division this season. The Moose are 20-12 at the close of the first trimester of baseball, two games ahead of the Toronto Nomads, who held the lead for the early weeks.

Admiral Surge, Pit Bulls and Sluggers Crash

The St. Petersburg Admirals continue their hot streak in the AEL’s East Division, capping the first week of June on a 4 game winning streak. They beat state rivals, the Miami Storm, 3-1 on Thursday to avoid being swept, then started a weekend home series against the California Tidals on Friday, opening with a 6-0, 3-hit shutout win, courtesy of RHP Harry Ferguson, who improves to 3-2 on the year. Nomads Still In Control After 2 Weeks

The Toronto Nomads are still in control of the weekly power rankings after the second week of baseball concluded yesterday, and no one is more surprised than the Nomads and their fans.
