LL Announces Outstanding Batter Award

(GAME DATE — August 1, 2020) — Detroit Motorheads fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in July. Payton Bint put up a remarkable month at the age of 24 and has been named the Lake League Batter of the Month.

Race to Rookie of the Year Decided?

California’s powerful Hiroki Omiya is the front runner for the Metro League ROTY after clobbering 45 home runs in his debut season. The 33-year-old rookie was an international free agent signing from Japan last November, and inked a 7-year, $161 million deal with the Tidals on the strength of extremely positive scouting reports. Western’s Payton Bint Selected by Detroit in Draft

Payton Bint, a first baseman with the Western Mustangs, has become the first Canadian Intercollegiate Sports affiliated college player to be drafted into the Bull League after the Detroit Motorheads took him in the first round today.
