Boston Ends Long Drought, Clinches Division

(GAME DATE — Sep. 18, 2020) — The Boston Brawlers have shaken a monkey off their backs and ended 29-year streak by clinching their first division title since 1991. They stand alone atop the LL East with a 91-61 record, a full 11 games ahead of the New York Dragons with just ten games left on the schedule.

Early Look at MVP, Sandy Koufax and Other Awards Candidates

(GAME DATE — May 27, 2020) — As we move towards a third of the way through the 2020 season, we begin to see an early picture forming of who the top players in the LL and ML are, and we can offer predictions about who may be holding that hardware at the end of the year.

Injuries have already taken some pieces off of the chess board, meaning a four-peat for Admirals ace Jose Soto as ML Sandy Koufax Award winner is unlikely, and Montreal’s Jose Ramirez will not likely accumulate the numbers required for a Carl Simms MVP Award this year. 2018’s Sophomores to Watch

In 2017, we saw the emergence of several rookies in the Bull League, including ROTY winners Jose Soto (Anchorage) and Corny Maise (Ohio). Many had breakout first-year performances, leaving a lot to look forward to for the coming season.
