(GAME DATE – Sep. 30, 2019) — The Toronto Nomads will make their first playoff appearance since the 2010 season, and only their 4th since the modern Bull League era began in 1995, after a photo finish to the 2019 season, an 88-74 record placing them 2nd in the LL East.

The Nomads tied the Ohio Oxen, but end up in the 2nd wild card due to their lower run differential of +5, compared to the Oxen’s +8, and will therefore face first overall seed, the Minneapolis Ravens, who took the LL West pennant with a 100-62 record.

Several teams are expected to make some big moves, with those locked-in teams using the extra roster spaces to bring in new players who can allow their veterans some rest ahead of the playoffs, while out-of-contention teams will give their upcoming stars a chance to shine before the offseason roster decisions get made.
