PRCL Week #7 – Manila U Breaks Through

The Manila U Aztecs have broken through to rise to the top of the weekly power rankings for the Pacific Rim College League at the end of 7 weeks, taking the top spot with a 27-16 record, with just 11 games left. The Aztecs are 1 game ahead of division rivals Singapore Baseball Academy, who had been the division leaders earlier in the season.

The Aztecs’ surge this week was powered in part by a lopsided 17-2 win over Queenstown U Falcons on Wednesday, a game that saw them blast three multiple-run homers, along with four doubles. Continue reading “PRCL Week #7 – Manila U Breaks Through”

PRCL Week #6 – Melbourne Reclaims Top of Power Rankings

The Melbourne U Admirals have reclaimed the top of the PRCL power rankings as the Pacific Rim College League completes the 6th week of its short season.

But the question remains how long will they stay there? The Admirals have four pitchers out with injuries, including closer Sean Axworthy who was injured on February 11th, and will likely miss most of the 2019 season, in addition to the rest of this season. PRCL Week #3 – Melbourne U Takes Command

The Melbourne U Admirals have continued their meteoric rise to the top of the Pacific Rim College League (PRCL) power rankings, unseating Busan Tech which had been in control since the beginning of the season.

The Admirals are now 14-5, enjoying a 9-game win streak that started with their well organized disposal of division rivals Wellington College, where they outscored them 12-5, then picking up a pair of wins each against Queenstown Falcons and Fiji College Red Wolves, a single game win over Hanoi College Beacons, and most recently a pair of wins against Australian rivals Sydney Sports Academy Wet Sox. Busan Tech Tops Circuit – PRCL Week #1 Roundup

BTI Brawlers soared to the top of the PRCL power rankings for Week #1 of the 2018 schedule. Busan Tech’s league-leading 58 runs scored, while allowing just 19 earned runs, has absolutely dominated the first eight games to open the season, and they top the standings at 7-1.
