Pratt and Nakanishi Fight, Get Suspended

(GAME DATE — June 8, 2020) — Chris Pratt of St. Petersburg and Kusuo Nakanishi of Washington were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Pratt will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Nakanishi was given 3 games. League officials announced their suspensions today.

Medina and Cahill Brawl, League Suspends Them

(GAME DATE — June 1, 2020) — After an intense confrontation, both the Admirals Israel Medina and the Storm Kyle Cahill were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner’s office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent St. Petersburg-Miami game. Medina will miss 4 games, while Cahill was suspended for 6 games.

Teams Spending Big In Offseason

(Game date: Dec. 20, 2018) — Bull League teams have been spending big this offseason, partly in anticipation of a longer season bringing in more revenue.

But adding to the spending craze is that this has been one of the best-stocked free agent pools in a few years, leading to some big name talent moving around for sizable piles of cash.

Several “Whales” Nearing Free Agency

The end of the 2018 season is looking like it will turn into a big-dollar free agent feeding frenzy, as some of the league’s top players look like they will walk away from their teams after the last playoff pitch is thrown.

The list of players who are eligible for free agency and have yet to sign extensions with their clubs is stacked with talent. While some, like Francisco Erazo of Miami, may hang up their cleats and retire. Rimouski Adds Tavitas

The Rimouski Fighting Moose have added free agent outfielder Jose Tavitas to their roster today, and no doubt the 30-year-old will add yet another disciplined bat to the already stacked batting order come May.

Tavitas last played for the Jacksonville Ravens (now Minneapolis Ravens) in 2017, playing out 29 games and finishing with just a .231 averages — but his real talent was in in drawing walks, and he crafted an on-base percentage of .370. Continue reading “Rimouski Adds Tavitas”
