2007 Draft: A Look Back

Baseball is a sport where young, talented prospect players can be notoriously slow to develop into elite superstars. Generally, it takes 4-6 years for a high school or college draftee to finally make the big leagues, though some exceptional players may make the jump straight away.

But ten years after a draft is about when you can reflect on the quality of a particular draft class and properly assess the players who were drafted. $4,600,000 Lands RP Faith for Nomads

It was announced today that 30-year-old reliever Kevin Faith has inked a deal with Toronto. Many baseball people question whether he is really worth $4,600,000 over 2 years.

However, the team thinks that he will be a solid contributor this season. The Toronto Nomads have been looking to bolster a weak bullpen during the off-season.

Faith has a career record of 16-17 with a 4.14 ERA. In 168 games he has recorded 7 saves and the 30-year-old has 313 strikeouts in 343.1 innings of work.
