The Nevada Speeders starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Ohio Oxen and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Pritchard was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 13 months.

He had been in the back end of the Nevada Speeders rotation, which has been hammered hard by injuries this year. Jake Figurski was injured back in early May, and will also miss the season.
