Central Chicago Prep Bankers Win High School WS Opener

The 32-team Nor-Am High School League has reached the final round of its playoffs, and the two teams competing for the NAHS World Series have been set, with the Indy Division champs, Central Chicago Prep, already drawing first blood.

The Bankers defeated the Dutch Colonial Academy Gunners in a lopsided 10-0 blowout, leaving the shell-shocked Gunners with just 4 hits after senior Chris Riddle dismantled the Caribbean island team’s batting. Riddle threw 88 pitches, with 50 of them strikes, as he teamed up with lefty Eddie Wear to extinguish the Gunners run-scoring hopes. Guadalupe High School Win the NAHS World Series

The Guadalupe HS Slashers have won the Nor-Am High School World Series, trouncing the Dallas Sports Academy Bats 10-1 tonight in the final game of a best-of-three series.

Dallas Evens NAHS World Series, 1-1

RF Ben Price (Dallas) won Player of the Game for his 3-for-5, 5 RBI performance vs Guadalupe HS tonight, including a Grand Slam in the 6th

The Dallas Sports Academy Bats cashed in 10 runs on their way to trouncing the Guadalupe HS Slashers in the Nor-Am High School (NAHS) World Series, as the action continued for game two in Dallas tonight.

Guadalupe HS Takes Early 1-0 Series Lead

The Guadalupe High School Slashers took an early lead in the best-of-three NAHS World Series with a 3-0 win today over the Dallas Sports Academy Bats.

The Tlaxcala-based sports high school held the Independent Schools Conference champions from Texas to just 3 hits and a pair of walks as they found early offense from 1B-man Jim Dudley with a 2-out solo shot in the bottom of the fist inning. High School Playoffs Fast Approaching

The Nor-Am High School league has just 10 games left on its schedule, and while no team has clinched a playoff berth as yet, each division has its strong contenders for a slot.
