After leaving to test free agency, A.C. Deucey has been lured back to the Ohio Oxen, signing a 2-year, $15 million contract that will see the Sandy Koufax Award runner-up return to the Ohio rotation for 2018.
Ohio, which struggled to cobble together a solid rotation this year and saw an early exit from the playoffs after dropping the elimination round series to Rimouski 3-1, is said to be relieved that Deucey will return.

Teams are blaming faulty fax machines, or misdirected emails, but whatever the cause, both Rimouski and Ohio failed to field their expected starting pitchers for Game 1 of their LL Elimination Round series, it has come to light.
The Ohio Oxen were widely expected to start Sandy Koufax Award contender Frasor Clause or A.C. Deucey for the first game of the series.
