Bull League’s 2018 All-Stars Announced

There are several familiar faces, along with a few new ones, in this year’s lineups for the 2018 Bull League All-Star Game, which will take place on July 19 in Calgary, Alberta.

Norfolk’s Charles Ling will make his first All-Star Game appearance this season.

Rookie Guppy Hits for Cycle

Dennis “Little Fish” Guppy proved he’s a big fish in the Bull League pond tonight after hitting for the cycle, a feat many batters never get to achieve at this level.

The Bull League’s top prospect, batting leadoff for the Detroit Motorheads in a game against Battle Creek, went 4-for-5 with 3 runs scored and an RBI on his solo homer in the 7th inning, as Detroit edged their state rival 6-5. Continue reading “Rookie Guppy Hits for Cycle”

Spring Training Starts, Predictions Announced

Spring Training opens today, with all 20 Bull League teams in action against teams in their respective leagues. Some of the players to watch include LF Alexis Rosa (Toronto), who spent just 12 games in the Bull League last season, but hit .348 at the AAA-level Cow League affiliate Brampton Longhorns, stealing 18 bases along the way, and CF Dennis Guppy (Chicoutimi), the current #1 Prospect, a blazing speedster who hit .314 at the Short Season A level last season.
