Salts, Cowboys Close Deal

(GAME DATE — July 21, 2020) — Both sides appear content with the trade finalized today that will send 32-year-old RHP Jason Connery and 21-year-old minor league 3B Robert Cabrera to the Arizona Cowboys, while the Seattle Salts will receive 32-year-old 3B Cody Martin.

Lozano Tags Number 200

(GAME DATE — May 29, 2020) — Veteran Roberto Lozano hit a historic home run today — career blast number 200. “I am happy to be in such elite company. It has been quite a ride so far,” Lozano said after the game.

Admiral Surge, Pit Bulls and Sluggers Crash

The St. Petersburg Admirals continue their hot streak in the AEL’s East Division, capping the first week of June on a 4 game winning streak. They beat state rivals, the Miami Storm, 3-1 on Thursday to avoid being swept, then started a weekend home series against the California Tidals on Friday, opening with a 6-0, 3-hit shutout win, courtesy of RHP Harry Ferguson, who improves to 3-2 on the year.
