Ravens Clinch 3rd Straight Division Title

(GAME DATE — Sep. 18, 2020) — They still have a way to go to catch the Ohio Oxen in terms of number of LL West titles, but the Minneapolis Ravens have managed to clinch their 3rd consecutive LL West title, and are now vying for the top playoff seed with the Boston Brawlers.

With an offense powered by 40-plus home run hitters Evandro Cerigo (pictured) and Chris Zahn, and Sandy Koufax Award contender Takahide Higuchi starring in their rotation, the Ravens were almost guaranteed a playoff appearance through most of this season, but now it’s official. Zahn, MacPherson Take Home August Top Batter Awards

(GAME DATE — Sept. 1, 2020) — The ML East’s Norfolk Sharks may be D.O.A. this year, but that hasn’t slowed down veteran Sharks backstop Earl MacPherson from lighting the league on fire through the month of August. “Blur” MacPherson was electric, hitting .407 and knocking in 13 home runs and 29 RBIs, scoring a total of 22 times.

2020 Preview: Lake League West

ANOTHER 100-WIN YEAR FOR RAVENS

The Ravens could break 100 wins again, though they are predicted to just hit 99.

(GAME DATE — April 1, 2020) — All indications are that the Minneapolis Ravens will storm to another strong finish this year, and could once again hit 100 wins. The official prediction is for 99, but the team is largely intact from a very successful Bull Cup appearance last season, with the addition of strong performers like Takahide Higuchi (in a trade) and Jake Pruitt (in a free agent signing).

There is a good chance that with the expected weakness Lake League East division, and the deep-pocketed team locking down their big time talent for years to come, that the Ravens could actually smash through 100 wins this year and ride that wave to the Bull Cup again.
