Defending Champs, Admirals, Clinch Division Again

(GAME DATE — Sep. 19, 2020) — The defending Bull Cup champions, the St. Petersburg Admirals, have clinched their third straight division title since moving into the East division of the Metro League (formerly the American Eagle League), securing a fifth straight playoff appearance.

Pratt and Nakanishi Fight, Get Suspended

(GAME DATE — June 8, 2020) — Chris Pratt of St. Petersburg and Kusuo Nakanishi of Washington were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Pratt will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Nakanishi was given 3 games. League officials announced their suspensions today.

Speeders Still Dominating in Second Half

At the end of 11 weeks of baseball, the Nevada Speeders find themselves still on the top of the Weekly Team Power Rankings as they continue to dominate through the second half of the season. The Speeders have gone 7-2 since the All-Star break, and are 43-22 on the year.

Rimouski, Minneapolis and St. Petersburg are close behind, all with 39 wins. The Denver Danger have made serious gains, however, and are looking to challenge St. Pete’s for the division crown. Continue reading “Speeders Still Dominating in Second Half”
