The Minneapolis Ravens have a death-clutch on the top of the Weekly Team Power Rankings after 7 weeks, and do not appear to be ready to let go any time soon.

Reyes, Yamada Named Batters of the Month; June Awards Announced

The Bull League’s players of the month for June have been announced, and the top hitters were revealed as Gabel Reyes for the LL and Chitoji Yamada for the AEL.

Reyes, the Minneapolis Ravens center fielder, went .314 in June with an OPS of 1.043, contributing 11 home runs to make 13 for the season. Reyes has been a fixture in the cleanup role for about half his appearances, and has been particularly effective from there, batting .359 from the #4 slot. Big Expectations Follow Yamada to Nevada

Nevada will have a new face patrolling left field next year, as the Speeders have announced they have signed international free agent Chitoji Yamada to a 6-year, $14.25 million contract.
