Rimouski Adds Tavitas

The Rimouski Fighting Moose have added free agent outfielder Jose Tavitas to their roster today, and no doubt the 30-year-old will add yet another disciplined bat to the already stacked batting order come May.

Deputies Execute Two Trades, Lose Caparica and Helms

The Dallas Deputies have pulled the trigger on two trades that analysts say may have set back their progress towards being a playoff contender by at least a few more seasons.

Earlier today, the Deputies traded their top hitting regular, SS Celestino Caparica (.294/.353/.423, 8 HR, 30 RBI, 12 SB) and recently-signed right-hander Marco Helms, who last played for the Salts, where he went 9-5 with a 2.96 ERA and impressive 131 K’s over 118.2 innings. Latorre Signs with Dallas

The Dallas Deputies are wasting no time in signing a talented free agent. Cuban southpaw Fernando Latorre inked a 3-year, $5.2 million deal just days after leaving the Calgary Inferno.
