Freeport U Faces Assiniboine U in CANAM World Series

The CANAM College League World Series match up has been decided, following two exciting best-of-three Division Finals series that just wrapped up yesterday.

In the first series, the Southern Conference’s Grand Canyon College took on the Caribbean Six Conference’s Freeport U Rum Runners. The teams had split their regular season series 1-1, and the playoffs were also a hard fought battle with no clear underdog. Freeport looked strong in the opening game with a 6-0 shutout win, but Grand Canyon battled back in game 2 with a 5-0 shutout win of their own. Mass Bay, Grand Canyon Among Conference Finalists

The final four teams to advance to the CANAM college DIVISION I finals are set, after the Conference Finals games were decided today.

In this podcast we bring you the latest from the CAN-AM College League playoffs as we finish round 1 and make ready for round 2.
