Davis Goes to Deputies in 1st Overall Pick

(DRAFT 2020) — The 2020 Bull League draft pre-selection has commenced and with their first overall pick the Dallas Deputies have selected Jonathan Davis, a pitcher and potential two-way player as a second baseman out of the NCAA Indiana Hoosiers.

NOR-AM High School Preview 2018

While Niagara Academy Fighters dominated the standings in last year’s Nor-Am High School season, and earned promotion from the Independent Schools (Indy) Conference, Division 2 to Division 1, is was the International Conference’s (Inter) mighty Mexican team, Guadalupe HS Slashers that ultimately won the first high school baseball championships.

High School Top Players and Pitchers Named

The Most Valuable Players and Pitchers of the Year have been announced following the end of the Nor-Am High School playoffs, which saw the International Conference’s Guadalupe HS Slashers win the best-of-three series over the Independent Conference’s Dallas Sports Academy Bats, 2-1.

Guadalupe High’s Jean-François Rougier took the INTER Pitcher of the Year Award, which surprised no one except for perhaps Rougier. He had an impressive 7-1 record and 2.26 ERA, topping that conference, a number that is made all the more impressive by the fact that the conference average ERA was 6.48. 2017 Draft Pool Revealed

The Draft Pool has been approved and posted, and for the first time ever, will include non-amateurs from the independent Bull Oceanic League, as well as the top college and high school players.

There are over 2,000 eligible players in this year’s draft, although only abut 600 will be selected over the course of the 2017 First Year Player Draft. Continue reading “2017 Draft Pool Revealed”

Dallas Evens NAHS World Series, 1-1

RF Ben Price (Dallas) won Player of the Game for his 3-for-5, 5 RBI performance vs Guadalupe HS tonight, including a Grand Slam in the 6th

The Dallas Sports Academy Bats cashed in 10 runs on their way to trouncing the Guadalupe HS Slashers in the Nor-Am High School (NAHS) World Series, as the action continued for game two in Dallas tonight.

The Bats held the Slashers to just 3 runs, while a Grand Slam from RF Ben Price, and a three run shot from Adam Cash provided the bulk of the offense for the Independent Schools Conference champions. Continue reading “Dallas Evens NAHS World Series, 1-1”
