Ravens Clinch 3rd Straight Division Title

(GAME DATE — Sep. 18, 2020) — They still have a way to go to catch the Ohio Oxen in terms of number of LL West titles, but the Minneapolis Ravens have managed to clinch their 3rd consecutive LL West title, and are now vying for the top playoff seed with the Boston Brawlers.

With an offense powered by 40-plus home run hitters Evandro Cerigo (pictured) and Chris Zahn, and Sandy Koufax Award contender Takahide Higuchi starring in their rotation, the Ravens were almost guaranteed a playoff appearance through most of this season, but now it’s official. Money Talks: How Much Will Land the 2020 Free Agent Whales?

(GAME DATE — Sep. 12, 2020) — The season rapidly approaches its final games, and for some GMs that may mean keeping at least one eye on the pending free agency list. There are 64 players eligible for free agency at the moment, and at least a dozen could sign for high-dollar amounts either as extensions, or with news teams this fall.

Currently, Danny Sanchez and Adam Price are the two highest paid players in their final contract year. Sanchez, the Norfolk Sharks shortstop, will earn $21 million this year, and the “Golden Boy” is having another fantastic year which will be sure to keep his next contract in that territory. Speeders Still Dominating in Second Half

At the end of 11 weeks of baseball, the Nevada Speeders find themselves still on the top of the Weekly Team Power Rankings as they continue to dominate through the second half of the season. The Speeders have gone 7-2 since the All-Star break, and are 43-22 on the year.

Rimouski, Minneapolis and St. Petersburg are close behind, all with 39 wins. The Denver Danger have made serious gains, however, and are looking to challenge St. Pete’s for the division crown. Continue reading “Speeders Still Dominating in Second Half”
