Long-time Nomads Hitting Coach Rumored to be on Chopping Block

(GAME DATE AUG. 29, 2019) — Corey Normore, the long running hitting coach for the Toronto Nomads, is said to be facing unemployment after the 2019 season, despite the team producing one of its best seasons in years.

Normore, who started with the AAA-level Brampton Longhorns in 2010, is in his fourth season with the Nomads as hitting coach. The team has seen steady hitting improvement since 2016 when he was promoted out of the minor league system.

Erazo Tops List of Highest Paid in BBL

With the signing of left fielder Francisco Erazo by the Kingston Cannons yesterday to a 2-year, $76.5 million contract, the Cannons can now boast to having the highest paid player in the Bull League.

The 37-year-old veteran Erazo will make $3 million more next year than Toronto ace starter Alex Medina.
