Calgary to Host 2018 All-Star Game

The league has announced that the 2018 All-Star Game will be played in Calgary, Alberta, hosted by the AEL’s Calgary Inferno.

The Inferno were the 2017 Bull Cup champions, and the announcement of Calgary as the host city continues the theme set last year, when the 2016 champion Ohio Oxen were used as the hosts for this season’s mid-summer classic. Continue reading “Calgary to Host 2018 All-Star Game”

Young Star Helps Propel American Eagle League to Win in Midseason Classic

During the star-studded affair, the 2017 American Eagle League All-Stars defeated the Lake League All-Stars by a score of 8-4.

The fans in attendance at Oxen Ballpark certainly enjoyed the show, seeing the best that the game had to offer.

Chief among the stars was Israel Medina, who led the American Eagle League to victory.

“I will admit I was nervous out there. To share a field with such incredible players is always a humbling experience. But after the first couple pitches, you just have to ignore the talent out there and focus on your game,” Medina commented as he accepted his award after the game.

In his career Medina has hit for a .289 average and totaled 98 hits, 25 home runs and 63 RBIs.
