BRAWLERS IN CONTROL OF WEEK #3

Though only in 3rd place in the LL East with a 12-8 record, and ½ a game behind division leaders Montreal and New York, the Boston Brawlers had a great week, going 5-1 with their only loss coming on Monday against Toronto. They completed a series split on Tuesday, beating the Nomads convincingly 6-1, forcing the league’s top paid player, Alex Medina, to take 4 earned runs in a 7.0 inning loss decision. Boston then travelled to the Windy City where they swept the Chicago Pit Bulls in four, including a 4-0 shutout win on June 1.

The Brawlers have injected themselves among the team stat leaderboards for runs with 93 (3rd in LL), doubles with 42 (tied for 2nd in Bull League), triples with 9 (Bull League leader), homers with 24 (2nd in LL), and steals with 11 (LL leader).
