The Toronto Ducks have released a statement confirming the trade of 27-year-old minor league RF Hugh Lambert, 31-year-old RHP Shigenobu Takahashi, a 1st round draft pick and a 3rd round draft pick to the Jacksonville Ravens for 24-year-old 3B Jose Torres. The deal was finalized today.

Lifetime Lambert has hit for a .257 average and totaled 335 hits, 29 home runs and 146 RBIs.

In 103 career games, Torres has put up a .260 average, collected 17 doubles, 3 triples, and 8 home runs, driven in 40 runs, and scored 34 times.
