The Bull League simulated games are completed up to Friday, August 12. The latest league file is available for download using the link below, or from the About -> League File menu:
The league standings on the blog have also been updated, and reflect the results up to August 12. However, game highlight stories will come in real-time and will be posted to the website (and Twitter/Facebook) as they would have occurred through the week — loads of fun news stories still to come this week! For those who can’t wait, the full stats, reports and news can be found from the “Current Season” link in the menu.
There are just 22 games left in the schedule, and the playoff races are tight for each division, with the exception of the Lake League East, where the Montreal Metros are nearly guaranteed to finish in the pole position. However, the Lake League wildcard spots are wide open, and Boston, New York, Hamilton, Toronto and Chicago are all in the running, though the realistic battle is between Hamilton and Chicago.
Also, the league now has a YouTube channel, and we plan to “broadcast” some of the playoff games, particularly for those teams with human managers.
