Seattle’s Coleman Will Miss Season

(GAME DATE — July 22, 2020) — A blow for Travis Coleman today — team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a torn labrum. Coleman suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Seattle Salts are confident he’ll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Coleman’s ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.

For the season, the right-handed reliever Coleman is 0-2 with 1 save and a 5.40 ERA. He has given up 16 hits in 15 innings with 9 strikeouts. He had been struggling all year and now some analysts believe he was suffering from the injury a lot longer than team officials may have been aware.
