(GAME DATE — June 5, 2020) — Fans hoping to see Ohio Oxen left fielder Craig Gnarly back in action will have to be a little more patient since Gnarly is expected to miss another one week of action. The player’s rehabilitation has not gone as well as expected. He is recovering from shoulder tendinitis suffered on May 20 and has been listed as day-to-day since then.
Last year, the Oxen left fielder missed 6 weeks of play near the beginning of the season with tendinitis in the same shoulder.
Gnarly has been an important piece of the Oxen batting order, not to mention his solid defense. For the year Gnarly is batting .350 with 43 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 30 times and driven in 17.
