Oxen Willie Morales Down and Out for Year

April 3, 2024

Ohio starting pitcher Willie Morales suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today’s game against the Brawlers. According to club doctors Morales has a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Although Morales has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is “devastated” that he will miss the season.

The 32-year-old right hander is no stranger to injuries, having suffered from back tightness earlier during spring training, but has not missed playing time due to an injury since 2017.
