First it was Battle Creek, Jacksonville and Seattle. And now, Kingston too have joined the front office action, signing a new GM and manager today, Matthew Watkins.
Watkins joins a team looking to maximize its small market fiscal position and high fan interest in order to bring in revenue, and stretch its 11th-ranked budget.
The team has put together a collection of players that bring fans into the stadium, anchored by their long-time veteran second baseman, $40 million-man Francisco Erazo, and with a rotation led by five-time all-star Ron Alder.
