Boston Clinches Wild Card

The Boston Brawlers clinched one of two wild card spots in the Lake League, despite losing 4-3 to the first-place Montreal Metros tonight.

The Brawlers finish the season 56-44 (.560), in second place in the LL East and just 3 games behind the Metros.

The other wild card spot is yet to be decided between the LL East’s New York Dragons, and the LL West’s Rimouski Fighting Moose, who are tied at 53-46. Their game today, on the last day of the season, was rained out and will proceed tomorrow in Rimouski. Nick Seer gets the start for the Moose while William Febres will start for New York.
