Oxen Even With Inferno After Home Win

The Ohio Oxen defeated the Calgary Inferno, 5-1 in Game 2 of the Bull Cup today. Earning player of the game honors was starter A.C. Deucey, who threw 9 innings of 4-hit ball. The win moves Ohio into a 1-1 tie with Calgary in the series.

Deucey was effective against the Inferno, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Calgary to just 1 run on 4 hits over 9 innings.

“A.C. did a tremendous job,” said Ohio manager Dylan Maccarone.  The starter is now 4-0 during the postseason.

Game 3 is set to be played on Tuesday, September 27th, 2016 at Inferno Park. Slated to start are Frasor Clause for Ohio and Ronald Baldwin for Calgary.
