    The following changes will occur to the minor league system as part of the 2021 Contraction:

    AAA – Cow League
    – Baie Verte Vikings (Pit), Baltimore Bruins (Nor), Windsor Wild (Det), Ft. Worth Outlaws (Dal) will be unaffiliated with their teams.
    – Undrafted players remain on roster and can be purchased by remaining Bull League teams for $750,000.

    AA – Heifer League
    – Teams affiliated to Dallas, Detroit, Norfolk, Pittsburgh will be eliminated, and the players remaining on those rosters after the contraction draft will be released to free agency.
    – All divisions will be balanced at 4 teams.

    A – Calf League
    – Teams affiliated to Dal, Det, Nor, Pit will be eliminated, and the players remaining on those rosters after contraction draft will be released to free agency.
    – Calgary’s affiliated team (Lethbridge Raiders) will move to Desert Conference – East Division to balance that division to 4 teams.

    Short Season A – Texas Rio Grande League
    – Laredo Fighting Falcons (Dal) becomes unaffiliated. Undrafted players may be purchased for a fee of $500,000.

    Short Season A – New England League
    – Hartford Dynamo (Pit), Newark Black Bears (Det) are eliminated. Undrafted players are sent to free agency
    – North Tonawanda Blaze (Nor) is unaffiliated. Undrafted players may be purchased for a fee of $500,000.

    Rookie – Florida Rookie League
    – Ft. Myers Deputies (Dal), Ocala Sharks (Nor), Tampa Iron Pigs (Pit), Miami Motorheads (Det).
    – Undrafted players become free agents.
    – Ft. Lauderdale Nomads (Tor) move to Carl Simms Division to balance ACL
    – Orlando Tidals (Cal) move to Iron Arm Division to balance GCL
