    • International Amateur Free Agent signing cap currently $3.64 m, will be raised. Suggested baseline will be $5 m.
    • Correct the schedule to the proper one that was used for 2019. 162 games, SL1D1T5D2T5SL2D1T5D2T5 but not the D1GMO schedule. Probably: ILY_BGN_G162_SL1D1T5D2T5SL2D1T5D2T5_C_T20-D80-N70-I12.lsdl
    • Contraction: 4 teams. Probably candidates are NORFOLK, DETROIT, PITTSBURGH, CALGARY. Their minor league teams may/may not be contracted as well, or their players may simply become free agents.

CALGARY vs DALLAS — There is a small chance we might switch Calgary for Dallas in the contraction. Mainly, because Dallas is so terrible of a team, and Calgary has potential (and a championship history to preserve).

However, Dallas is probably a higher profile city, a better baseball market, and I think could be in the long run a more viable team. Any thoughts?

There was an oversight with the proposed schedule. The contraction of the league to 16 teams will necessarily mean a schedule format of “SL1D1T4D2T4SL2D1T4D2T4”.

There are many, many schedule options for this format, including various game lengths, inter-league or non-inter-league, and others.

A vote will be held on Slack to finalize some of the details.
