Ohio State Moves to 5-3 on Win Over Duke

The Buckeyes moved to 5-3 after putting down the Blue Devils today in Columbus, with much of the credit for the win going to Miles Jefts who went 5-for-5, with a pair of doubles and 3 runs scored.

The win caps a successful 2-game series against Duke in which Ohio State completed a sweep for their first series win of the year.

Ohio State beat Duke 9-7 on a 5-hit effort from Jefts.

They will now go to Boston for two games before coming back home to face conference rivals Iowa Hawkeyes.

So far this year, Jefts, a senior who is draft-eligible this June, is hitting .314, and is quickly becoming one of the team’s top batters.
